Set on a quiet Parioli street, this apartment was stripped back to let the light do the work. We rebuilt the plan around a single east-facing room where morning light rakes across hand-troweled lime plaster.

Oak was chosen for the floors and joinery — quartersawn, oiled, left to move with the seasons. Linen, wool, and unlacquered brass carry the palette through, so nothing competes with the architecture.

The result is a home that feels older than its renovation: quiet, material, and unhurried.
